Gainsborough was delighted to see the return of the Merry Olde Market which took place on Saturday 13 August 2022.
The event featured costumed historic stall-holders and vintage sideshows that entertained visitors throughout the day.
Visitors were able to enjoy free Punch and Judy shows presented by Professor Paul Temple, free carousel rides, a vintage fairground organ and a vintage fairground striker and more.
This activity has been funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of Gainsborough’s Townscape Heritage Initiative. We would like to thank all lottery players for supporting good causes.
