Access to the motorway network is just 30 minutes away, via Scunthorpe (M180) to the north, or Blyth (A1M) 30 minutes to the west.
The Humber ports are under 60 minutes’ drive to the north east. Gainsborough is also within easy reach of Doncaster Sheffield Airport and Humberside Airport to the north of the county.
There are a number of car parks in Gainsborough, all of which are within a short walk of the Market Place and town centre. Fees start at as little at £1.10 for up to 2 hours; and under £4 all day. By Rail
Gainsborough Lea Road Railway Station provides a regular service to Lincoln, Sheffield and Doncaster. (East Coast Mainline).
Gainsborough Central Station Gainsborough Central Station offers a regular hourly service to and from Sheffield Monday to Saturday, stopping at all stations en route, including Retford and Worksop. At Retford, travelers can connect to the LNER East Coast Mainline service.
On Saturdays three trains continue to Cleethorpes, via Brigg and Grimsby.
