Lunch Fest is this bank holiday weekend!

Lunch Fest is coming to Marshall’s Yard this bank holiday weekend and will bring mouthwatering flavours from across the globe with more than 25 food and drink vendors, licensed bars, live music and entertainers, and free children’s activities!

Here’s a run down of what’s happening over the bank holiday weekend…

Saturday 26 August

  • 12 to 3pm – Free Face-painting
  • 11 to 3pm – Free festival glitter
  • 11 to 3pm – Balloon Artistry
  • 12 to 4pm – Craft workshop (Beading festival bracelets)

Sunday 27 August

Monday 28 August

  • 12 to 3pm – Crafting workshop (Beaded bracelets & Rock painting)
  • 1 to 2pm – 1 hour Drum workshop by drumbeat

Live Cocktail Demos 🍸

Fancy seeing a live master class? Over the weekend we have a mixologist joining us from No 17 Coffee & Cocktails providing live cocktail making demonstrations paired with free tasting samples!

Live demos are from 4pm on Saturday, Sunday & Monday.

Food Challenges

Sunday 27 from 2pm!

CAN YOU HANDLE THE HEAT in the hot sauce challenge? Put your mouth to the test trying different levels of hot sauces from mild to HOTTTT on the Scoville Scale. Do you think you can you handle them all??

NO HANDS CHALLENGE

Saturday 29 from 1pm!

Or do you perhaps fancy the No Hands Challenge? That’s right no hands!! Can you eat a full doughnut using no hands the quickest?

Simply by eating a full doughnut using no hands but quicker than your peers, could you be in the chance of showing them whos KING/QUEEN of the No Hands Challenge!

Competition sign ups are on the day. To sign up please visit the Marquee in the event area to put down your details to enter!


Don’t forget also this weekend is Gainsborough Model Railway‘s Open Day! Open on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 August, 1.30pm to 5.30pm. They have on of the largest hand built model railways in the country! You can also explore Gainsborough Old Hall (open 10am to 5pm) and Gainsborough Heritage Centre (open Saturday 10am to 4pm).
