Meet your favourite princesses at Marshall’s Yard!
Saturday 12 February, 12.30pm to 1.30pm
Kick off your half term this weekend at Marshall’s Yard as they invite all princess fans to come and meet the one and only Cinderella and Belle. They are looking forward to meeting you all and will be in the fountain area from 12.30pm to 1.30pm. You might even be able to get a royal selfie!
Don’t forget to stop by the Farmers’ and Craft market in the Market Place. The market offers the best in fresh, local, homemade and handmade produce from a variety of local traders outdoors in the fresh air.

Discover Gainsborough’s fascinating heritage
Visit one of the best-preserved manor houses in England… and it’s right here in Gainsborough. Gainsborough Old Hall is an impressive timber framed manor house with over 500 years of history within its walls.
It also has an impressive medieval kitchen with an enormous fireplace and stunning great hall with an ornate wooden ceiling.

Gainsborough Heritage Centre also offers a fascinating insight to the history of the town. It also houses an impressive street scene that will leave visitors feeling nostalgic.
Currently open on Saturdays only, 10am to 4pm.
Follow the heritage trail
As you walk around the town you’ll find history in every corner! ‘A Walk Through Time’ is a heritage trail that will take you round some of Gainsborough’s most notable historical sites including the Old County Court House and the Pilgrim Woman that stands on the riverside.

If you’re looking for something more hands on; why not visit Rand Farm Park?! Discover exciting hand on experiences with a wide variety of animals and live demonstrations. They also have an indoor play and outdoor attractions for all ages. You can also take a drive out to Hall Farm Park (30 minutes from Gainsborough), a family run working farm with lots of things to see and do giving visitors a unique experience. Woodside Wildlife Park also offers hands-on access to some exciting animals!
If you’re more energetic then Wild Pines Park is the place to be! It’s one of the UK largest rope courses in UK offering you the chance for a unique and adventurous day out in the trees. Also, just down the road is Willingham Woods, offering a variety of walking and cycling trails. Picnic benches are also available on-site. They are located by the car park and ponds.
