Events

Ashcroft Park Jubilee celebrations, DN21 1LB

Thursday 2 June, 2pm to 5pm

Join in the celebrations at Ashcroft Park with traditional games, best dressed King & Queen competition, craft activities and more! There will also be a Garden Tea Party at the x-church.

The Venue at Roses, DN21 2TU

Thursday 2 June, 11am to 5pm

A fun filled day for all he family including castles, cakes, the beach, fun bus, ice creams, slush, the park plus other activities.

Scavenger Hunt at Marshall’s Yard!

Available 2 to 5 June

To celebrate The Queens Jubilee Marshall’s Yard are holding a crown scavenger hunt. Collect your entry form from The Works and visit each store to find a crown displaying a letter. Once you’ve found them all, unscramble them to spell a word. Complete your form and post in the union jack post box located in The works for your chance to win a Jubilee bundle!

Great British Garden Party at Uncle Henry’s

Saturday 4 June, 11am to 5pm

Grab your nearest and dearest and go ‘Behind the Garden Wall’ for a day of music, good local food and festivities, as we celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee!

‘Behind the Garden Wall’ has become garden party central, featuring live music, ice creams, drinks and a BBQ stocked up with local produce as well as all the of usual activities, such as the fairy trail and jumping pillow to keep the kids extra happy!

Head down to Richmond Park and join the Rotary Club for their Big Jubilee Lunch! Bring your own picnic, tables / blankets and enjoy a great afternoon with family and friends. There will also be some food and drink vendors available as well.

Family Celebration Day, Lea Park

Sunday 5 June 11am to 6pm

From 11am until 6:30pm on Sunday 5th June, join in the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations by joining Lea for a Picnic in the Park! With all sorts of family fun organised to keep you entertained throughout the day, from donkey rides to tennis to crafts and local music performances!

Jubilee Picnic at in the grounds at All Saints Church, Gainsborough

Sunday 5 June, 1.30pm to 4pm

Bring your own picnic and enjoy the grounds of All Saint Church.

There will also be an afternoon of fun planned with music, food and celebrations. Plus an opportunity to find out more about local businesses and charities.

Gainsborough Jubilee Trail

Don’t forget to try the Queens Platinum Jubilee Trail! This free trail uses magical augmented reality to create this fantastic trail story-trail.

Located around Gainsborough are seven magical characters on a day trip from Buckingham Palace. Join Sir Barnaby Beacon on the trail as he visits his friends, you’ll be able to see them augmented reality, decide what happens next in the story and even win a free digital fun pack at the end.
