Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough is preparing to re-open more of the centre’s stores this Wednesday (December 2nd) as the national lockdown restrictions are relaxed in the run up to Christmas.
Stores including Browns Department Store, Seasalt, Fat Face Card Factory and Coe & Co were closed earlier this month following the government’s ruling on non-essential retail.
Many have operated click and collect services, but all stores can now re-open their doors to shoppers in the run up to Christmas along with hair and beauty salons, nail bars and gyms.
Lincolnshire’s tier 3 category means that the centre’s restaurants will have to remain closed for now, although some are offering a takeaway service throughout December.
Marshalls Yard are also launching a pop up shop in the former Laura Ashley unit, where local, small businesses have been invited to sell their goods and produce on the run up to Christmas.
Stores including Wilkos, M&S Simply Food, Poundland and Superdrug have been permitted to trade throughout the second national lockdown. Now the Marshall’s Yard centre team is looking forward to welcoming more stores and businesses who will reopen from Wednesday.
The new Snap Fitness Gym is also set to open mid-December and members can now sign up can sign up and enjoy and exclusive pre-opening offer of £26.99 per month.
Tenant Liaison Executive, Charlotte Toplass, said: “The centre is all lit up and ready for Christmas now and looks really lovely.
“We are looking forward to more stores being able to reopen on Wednesday and of course to welcoming more of our shoppers back to the centre for their Christmas shopping.”
