Halloween Activities this Half Term

Halloween Trail at Gainsborough Old Hall

Saturday 19 to Sunday 27 October

Are you brave enough to complete this spooky trail? A prize awaits if you dare… Free entry for every child in costume when accompanied by a paying adult.

Macrame Weaving at Gainsborough Old Hall

Wednesday 23 October, 1 to 4pm

Join ‘Spirit of the Mayflower’ Artist, Rachel Carter and have a go Macrame Weaving. Workshops are free to attend where you can make a piece or two to take home. You can also make an additional piece that may be used on Rachel’s new ‘bronze sculpture – ‘The Pilgrim Woman’ that is being created for the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower.

Please dress in warm comfortable clothing as the Hall can be much cooler at this time of year.

Halloween Spook-Tacular at Marhsall’s Yard

Thursday 31 October

Join us for a spooktacular evening from 4pm until 7pm at Marshall’s Yard with plenty of treats and the odd trick… join us if you dare!!

Featuring lots of fangtastic fun including live music, spooky fancy dress parade and dance performances.

Enjoy free face painting 4pm – 6pm – get here early to complete your fancy dress look!

Join in with lots of Halloween fun at Rand Farm Park! Take a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch where every child receives a free pumpkin. Dare to encounter the spooky walk through and try their new Halloween trail!

Creative Halloween Crafts at Bransby Horses

Monday 21 October, 1 to 3pm

Come and get spooky at Bransby Horses. It’s time to get crafting at this spookiest time of year and create some scary, ghoulish and frightening crafts within some wonderful surroundings. Make your own Halloween mask, spiders web or build your own spooky creation.

£3 per person. Suitable for ages 4-11. Booking essential.

Free entry to all other facilities for you to enjoy our sprawling fields and meet our beautiful horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.


Halloween at Hall Farm Park

Monday 21 to Sunday 27 October

Explore the parks very first pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin* or try Winnie the Witches spell hunt! Face painting* will be available on selected days and you can also take a tractor ride on their Halloween themed trailer to feed the cattle plus all of their other usual indoor and outdoor activities. After all that fun tuck into some tasty Halloween treats in the tearoom!
