Friday Fun Club – Tudor Explorers

22 February at Gainsborough Old Hall

Fun family creative and crafty sessions with something different to make and take away every time! It’s free entry to club room with a small charge for crafts. Storytelling session will also run through the day at 11am, 1 and 2.30pm. No booking required.

Family Fun at Trinity Arts Centre

Friday 15 to Thursday 21 February

Enjoy a wealth of films, live theatre and workshops all week at Trinity Arts Centre including craft workshops and storytelling sessions. Suitable for all ages.

Enjoy the great outdoors

Owlet Wood is just a few minutes’ drive from Gainsborough with delightful woodland walks. It’s free to park and you can explore the wood using its network of footpaths, which are dry all year round thanks to the sandy soil. Owlet is largely flat and there are no steps or other obstructions, except for bracken and bramble growth in the summer months.

If you want to venture further afield, the Lincolnshire Wolds is just under an hours’ drive away with a variety of walks and cycle routes for all ages and abilities.

Family Days Out

If you’re looking for something more hands on; why not visit Rand Farm Park?! Discover an exciting balance of indoor play, outdoor attractions and animal hands-on experiences. You can also take a drive out to Hall Farm Park (30 minutes from Gainsborough), a family run working farm with lots of things to see and do giving visitors a unique experience. Woodside Wildlife and Falconry Park also offers hands-on access to some exciting animals!

If you’re more energetic then Wild Pines Park is the place to be! It’s one of the UK largest rope courses in UK offering you the chance for a unique and adventurous day out in the trees.
