• Girl watching Illuminate film projections on Gainsborough Old Hall

Illuminate 2022 Gallery

Over 2,500 residents and visitors attended Illuminate 2022 on Saturday 26th November, filling the town with a joyous atmosphere. Activities took place throughout the day and evening, offering plenty of ways for people to get involved.

The evening saw the return of the magnificent fire garden which brought the grounds of All Saint’s Parish Church to life; and three brand new specially commissioned films illuminated the walls of Gainsborough Old Hall. An illuminated guided walk kicked of the evening led by a samba band that drummed up a fantastic atmosphere. During the day there was also an opportunity take part in a self-led art trail, featuring Gainsborough artist Karl Wood’s paintings of the town on shop windows through the town centre.
